What the lookup shows

Fifteen industries are listed with an estimated AI adoption rate, a displacement-risk band, a hiring outlook, and the roles currently being reshaped inside that industry. You can search by name or filter by low, moderate, or high risk. The figures are planning estimates meant for comparison, not audited statistics.

Reading adoption against risk

Compare the adoption rate with the risk band. High adoption combined with high risk usually means routine roles are already being restructured, while high adoption with a stable outlook suggests the industry is using AI to expand rather than to cut. The hottest-roles column is often more useful than the headline risk, because it points to where demand is moving. A low-risk industry can still contain high-risk jobs, so check your own tasks in the Task-by-Task AI Replacement Calculator.

What the figures cannot tell you

Industry averages hide company size, region, seniority, and the difference between a role that designs AI systems and one that uses them. Adoption numbers also lag reality: a sector can look slow on paper while a few large employers move quickly. The percentages describe the sector as a whole, not the team you actually sit in, and one employer can be years ahead or behind its peers. The lookup cannot see your employer's plans, your local market, or your transferable skills. Use it to understand the weather, not to forecast your own week.
